Lived experience
Brian Fischman, CEO has lived the problem Get Up and Flow exists to solve. Diagnosed with ADHD in the 4th grade, Brian spent decades engineering his own systems, structures and accountability methods to build a demanding career on top of a brain that doesn’t run on willpower alone. Get Up and Flow is the support system he wishes had existed for him. Along with Dr. Parsons’ strategic and clinical inputs, Brian developed the proprietary platform, methodologies and suite of supporting tools.
Career
Brian is a magna cum laude graduate of Columbia University. He honed his technical skills working on AI projects as a product leader within startups and some of the world’s largest corporations. In 2013 Brian became Chief Product Officer of a venture-backed financial technology startup that still operates today. He then built ML-driven financial products at American Express and the first machine-learning recommendation systems at Total Wine & More, which reached #1 US mobile market share by revenue in its category.
At Walmart E-Commerce Brian led AI-driven personalization as Group Product Manager, among many responsibilities: managing a team of product managers, designing an orchestration layer that became core to Walmart’s omni-channel infrastructure, and created a $4B+ revenue expansion initiative.
He is a founding member of AI Circle, a community of leaders at the development of frontier AI.
Beyond work
In his spare time Brian volunteers around his native New York area and is a devoted dad.
