Get Up and Flow

Local ADHD Help in Connecticut: Options Compared

If you're in Connecticut and a weekly appointment isn't enough, you have four kinds of help: hospital or clinic programs, fixed-length coaching courses, weekly one-on-one coaching, and daily coaching that stays with you through the workday. Below is what we found in Connecticut, what each publishes about cost, and when each one fits. Get Up and Flow is the daily option: the same coach every workday for $750 a month.

How to choose

Need diagnosis, medication or therapy? Start with a clinic or a psychiatrist; coaching works alongside that care, not instead of it. Want to learn a system over a few months? A 12-week course or weekly coaching fits. Already know what to do and still can't start, switch or finish on an ordinary Tuesday? That is the gap daily coaching fills: someone in your day, not in your week. Read daily vs. weekly ADHD coaching for the full comparison.

What daily coaching looks like in Connecticut

Fairfield County commutes into Manhattan; Hartford and New Haven run their own clocks. Both are Eastern, which is the only clock our coaches work on, so a Stamford client and a Hartford client get the same 8-to-5 coverage.

Every workday: a 30-minute Jump Start call to plan the day; Transition Support by WhatsApp or SMS before each commitment, with a check-in after; Bonus Time, a 15-minute call on demand when you're stuck, up to 2 a day; and a 15-minute Retro to close the day. Up to 75 minutes of live coach time a day, with the same person all week. A Full Support coach works with no more than 5 clients. See a full day with an ADHD coach.

Coaching, not therapy

Get Up and Flow is coaching. We don't diagnose ADHD, prescribe medicine or provide therapy. If you need a prescriber or a therapist in Connecticut, the clinic options above are the place to start, and coaching fits alongside them.
